SLU Soccer Players Voted Liberty League All-Stars
First-year Marvin Sibanda garnered Second-Team All-Liberty League honors and senior Aidan Callahan and sophomore Robert Reynolds were awarded All-Liberty League Honorable Mention honors, as announced by league commissioner Tracy King on Tuesday afternoon.
A Bulawayo, Zimbabwe native, Sibanda led the Saints with six goals and four assists for 16 points on the season, despite missing the last two games due to injury. He ranked eighth in the league with .462 goals and .308 assists per game. He also ranked sixth with 1.23 points per game and sixth with 2.69 shots per game.
Callahan and Reynolds tied for second on the Saints' squad, tallying 11 points each on the season. Callahan scored four goals and added three assists, while Reynolds finished with five goals and one assist. The pair also recorded two game-winning goals each.
Callahan ranked ninth in the league with 2.13 shots per game.
Reynolds also earned Liberty League All-Academic honors this season.
"I'm extremely happy for the players that have been recognized by the coaches in the league," said head coach Mike Toshack. "It's always the biggest complement a player can receive by being recognized by an opposing coach as being a quality player."
St. Lawrence finished the season 6-8-1 overall and 3-5-1 in conference play.
