SUNY Potsdam Basketball, Hockey Broadcasts Set

POTSDAM, N.Y.-For the seventh straight season, My Mix 96.1 FM (WVLF) will carry home SUNY Potsdam men's and women's basketball and hockey contests. The Stephens Media Group Station in Massena will broadcast 37 Bears contests during the upcoming 2019-20 winter season.

SUNY Potsdam Alum Warren Potter is back again for play-by-play duties to call nine men's hockey games, 10 men's basketball games, 10 women's basketball games and eight women's hockey games. Bears Hall of Fame Hockey Coach John Horan will continue to serve as the analyst for hockey contests.

Out of the area fans, parents and alums can listen to the station's audio streamed over the Internet at www.mymix961.com or accompanying the live video stream provided through potsdambears.com.

My Mix 96.1 is one of three stations in Massena owned by Stephens Media Group which also operates heritage station WMSA 1340 AM and 101.5 FM The Fox serving northern New York and southern Canada. Stephens Media Group operates 10 other stations in New York State, including three in Ogdensburg, four in Watertown and three in Rochester.

The Bears return to the airwaves on Friday for a doubleheader, as the women's hockey team hosts NEWHL foe Morrisville State at 3 p.m. and the men host defending SUNYAC Champ SUNY Geneseo at 7 p.m.
