Two Eagles Highlight Low Scoring In Men's Golf League

Eagles by Jayden Kench on the first hole and Rob VanHouse on number five led the way in a week of low individual scores and high team scoring in the Men's Golf League at the St. Lawrence State Park. VanHouse also posted birdie on the first hole.

Kench's eagle anchored a round of 37 which shared medalist honors with his grandfather Greg Sholette who birdied the eighth and ninth holes and Chris Guimond at 37.

Team honors went to the Phoenix on the Bay foursome of Andy Manke 44, Jamie Alonozo 38, Dave Rishe 46 and Gary Seymour 40 which posted a slick -28 round. Team VanHouse (Rob VanHouse 39, Derrek VanHouse 41, Dick Moore 38, Super Don Hooper 44) followed at -19 and Sholette's Liquor Store (Ken Kendall 44, Greg Sholette 37, Jayden Kench 37 and Joe Moore 45) finished at -18.

Week 13 Finish: Phoenix on Bay -23 (1), Team VanHouse -12 (2), Sholette's Loquore Store -18 (3), Hammerhockies -13 (5), Howland Pump -13 (5), Team HAHA -13 (5), Solid Gold Dancers -7 (7), The Place -4 (8), Gary and Aileen';s -4 (9), Gary & Aoleen's -4 (9), Frary's Funeral Home -3 (10), HillBillies even (11), Taint Duster's +1.
