Two SUNY Canton Esports Teams Remain Unbeaten

Canton, NYTwo SUNY Canton Esports teams remain unbeaten after six weeks of regular season play as the Roos have combined for nearly 100 total wins so far this fall.

The Roos Super Smash Bros. Ultimate “A” team in Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) play as well as SUNY Canton’s Fortnite team in State University of New York (SUNY) play both remain undefeated. Both of those teams have earned the top seed in their respective playoffs. Every single one of SUNY Canton’s Esports teams this fall has qualified for both the ECAC and SUNY Playoffs!

“Every single esports team at SUNY Canton made the playoffs,” Esports Coordinator Charles Murray said. “This is a historic first for us. We have achieved this while adding two brand new teams and playing mostly remotely during COVID-19. I am extremely proud of everyone who has worked so hard in their seasons and I can't wait to see what playoffs bring!”
