Two Teams Share Honors At Ben Cordwell Senior Golf Finale

The Ben Cordwell Men's Senior Golf season concluded on Friday morning with a chilly tee-off which was followed by pleasant 50 degree playing conditions for the annual captain-crew tournament. Top honors were shared by two teams with three-under par 32s.

Sharing the lead were the team of Gary Guimond, Dave Shea, Bill Taylor and putting ace Junior Mack and foursome of heavy hitting John McCullough, Pete Shea, Jeff Houmiel and Al Livingston.

Following the tournament trophies were presented for the midseason Len Cobb-Kenny Cole Memorial Tournament and Gary Guimond was honored as the season's Most Improved Player. Tournament leaders were: Chuck Ladouceur - Flight A Low Gross, Flight A Low Net - Tim Vernsey, B Flight Low Gross - Joe Ott, Flight B Low NetJoe Donaleski , Flight C Low Gross - Butch Harvey and Flight C Low Net Al Livingston.
